By accessing and/or using this site, Lost & Found Pets L.A. (hereinafter “we”, “us”, “our”, “Lost & Found Pets L.A.”, “”), you agree to be legally bound by the following terms. If you do not agree to be legally bound by all of the following terms then please do not access and/or use Lost & Found Pets L.A. We may change these at any time and we’ll do our best to informing returning users/visitors, though it is recommneded that you review this regularly yourself as your continued usage of Lost & Found Pets L.A. after changes mean you agree to be legally bound by these terms as they are updated and/or amended.

This is a public site, and anything posted should in no way offend your grandmother, mother, father, sister, aunt, clergy, rabbi, congressman, children, neighbors or society at large. We don't care how permissive your family maybe, this applies to people that you may not know.

Failure to follow these guidelines may result in posts being removed, accounts deleted, and access to the site blocked. Users posting any illegal content or engaging in any actions deemed illegal will be reported to the appropriate authorities if necessary.

  1. The published title's of our forums indicate the appropriate type of content for posting, if you are in doubt as to the appropriate forum for a post, please contact an administrator or moderator prior to posting. Inappropriate posting will result in users being banned from the site.
  2. No profanity period, posts containing profanity will be deleted, if they make it past the filters. Keep it clean.
  3. Uploaded and/or attached images should avoid showing people if possible, they should as clearly as possible display  the animal the post is concerned with. Do not post images that are subject to copyright, unless you your self are the owner of said copyright.
  4. While we want other users to be able to contact you regarding a lost or found pet, remember that any contact information you choose to display may also be visible to the world. Email addresses in posts willl be hidden to prevent automatic harvesting, but it is recomended to create an account to enable greater privacy and contact options. User emails are never displayed publicy on the site.
  5. Posting any advertisements or solicitations for a business, or service not in the appropriate forum will be deleted. If there does not appear to be an appropriate forum, do not post without contacting the administrator or a moderator first. Failure to do so may result in the public shaming of the business or service in question.
